Work Experiences
PT. Haru Media Persada - 2020-2023
Haru is a publishing company that in recent year spread its wings to digital media and F&B as an expansion to it's mission; to grow public interest in reading. My role as Creative Director and Brand Strategist, helped Haru developed its Youtube channel. In F&B side, I helped developed the Haru Book Cafe branding from the ground up including, brand identity and personality, fundamentals, interior design, and I gave advice on menu and activation that can be done offline to build a community.
Within one year I also helped Haru's sister company, Emerald Home Decor and Cafe, expand and designed a building that sells furnitures, served western food, and a small photo studio. Here I helped with the integration of the three main business ideas in one roof. I designed an entire visual language and concept of the place.

All Is Amazing Creative Photography Collective - 2016-2020
All Is Amazing spear headed most of high end events in Kuala Lumpur. My role in All Is Amazing was as a senior photographer, overseeing most projects we worked on. From doing discovery meeting with client, planning, scheduling, producing, to executing projects. Beside as a photographer I also took other roles such as project manager, videographer, video editor, and web designer.
I helped create our own style where we approach event photography as lifestyle shoot. This unique style and our professionalism landed us a lot of projects from international brands such as; H&M, Channel, Dior, VW, Patek Phillipe, YSL, Levi's and many others.

Bombshelter Studio - 2013-2016
Bombshelter Studio was a boutique creative agency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a Graphic Designer my task was to help visualised and executed design projects. I helped manage projects including but not limited to; developing branding for prominent local brands such as Milk PR, Miss Shortcakes, Stretch Clinic, and BadLab Co. Helped develope Diageo Asia Pasific website, also developed website and helped manage the entire KL Dragons basketball team social media.
My most memorable projects were conceptualizing and executing Fred Perry's store window displays, we created and organized Bloodrunner fun run (including conceptualizing and building the obstacles along the route), and helped Heineken Malaysia transition after its GAB acquisition by developing and managing their website and their brewery building branding.

Personal Projects - 2023-present is a story telling platform that show good human effort in harmony with nature. As a co-founder of this small publication channel, my partner and I do all of the work ourselves. My partner is in charge with research, writing, and producing. My role is directing, shooting, sound recording, and editing. I helped designing its brand identity, fundamentals, and set up a simple website. We publish these short documentaries on YouTube and Instagram in a bite-sized format.
Creating has improved my story0telling skill significantly. Importantly I have the opportunity to meet impactful people, get to know them, and spread their stories. Not only in technical skills, but I also learnt a lot of life lessons through this project.
Getty Images Exclusive Contributor - 2021-present
Getty Images is one of the biggest stock photo and footage platform. In Current years, they've been pushing more and more authentic asian content. I got involved as a contributor by invitation from one of the content manager in charge of Southeast Asia content.
As an exclusive contributor I have the privilege to pitch ideas of concept that I wanted to shoot. I took these opportunities to shoot and presents real and less visible group of people, instead of using models. Through this project I've learnt to pitch, manage, and produce my own shoots.
Wait a Minute - 2020
Wait a Minute is a short form (one minute each) documentary series that talks about social issues such as inclusivity, plastic waste, and gender equality. My role in this project include developing brand identity and concept, shooting, and editing.
