In addition to creating visual branding and content for commercial clients, I also specialize in crafting powerful documentaries, in both film and stills, that amplify underrepresented voices and spotlight critical global issues. From environmental crises to cultural resilience, the visuals created are designed to inspire action, spark conversations, and leave lasting impacts on audiences and communities alike.
On these projects, I typically work with small team consisting of two to three highly skilled people who can take on multiple roles. This is done in order to be nimble, efficient, and unobtrusive, allowing subjects to feel more at ease, which helps capture genuine emotions and authentic expressions.
I've partnered with NGOs, media outlets, and brands to craft impactful documentaries that resonate globally. Here are some stories I've captured.

Tambak Bayan
In the heart of Surabaya, the residents of Tambak Bayan, a historic Chinese-Indonesian enclave, are employing art and tourism to resist land appropriation threats. By transforming their neighborhood into a cultural destination, they aim to preserve their heritage and assert their rights against developers. This grassroots initiative underscores the power of community-led cultural preservation in the face of urban development pressures.
